·      Professional artist since 1991, first as a muralist in Virginia and North Carolina, then shifted to the fine art of oil portraits and original oil paintings

·      Style varies from representational to impressionistic with vibrant color and bold painted strokes

·      Mentored by internationally renowned portrait artist John de la Vega with a focus on fine oil portraits

·      Taught senior level internship through Liberty University

·      Conducted painting workshops and taught private lessons

·      Private collectors from the United States, Canada, Thailand, and Malawi own Philip Ramsey commissioned pieces or have purchased Philip Ramsey originals from fine art galleries
